Pete DeLuca
Pete is a native of St. Louis, MO and attended Southeast Missouri State, earning a Marketing and PR Degree. Pete is a self-taught drummer, learning from MTV when they actually played videos after buying his first drumset at the age of 12 for $5! His biggest musical influence is his father, Pete DeLuca, Sr., who was a member of several bands throughout his career, most notably Walter Scott and the Cheaters and Bob Kuban and the In-Men. (Look Out For the Cheater)
Drummer’s that have influenced his playing include: Dave Weckl, David Garibaldi (Tower of Power), Carter Beauford (Dave Matthews Band), Mike Portnoy (Dream Theatre) and most recently, Todd Sucherman (STYX).
Pete is a founding member of The Intention and has been playing with them since 2001. He has been married to his wife Sarah for 8 years and had 2 beautiful daughters (future musicians), Alexa and Mia.
