The Intention has announced that they will be performing for a Pre-Thanksgiving Bash this Wednesday, November 23rd at The Pink Galleon in Cape Girardeau’s Town Plaza! It’s always a big party at the Galleon, and Wednesday promises to be the same. Come out from 8:30-12:30 and dance the night away with your friends and family on the area’s largest dance floor! Just a reminder, The Intention will be live at Rude Dog this weekend June 24-25. This is our first time to play at the Dog in about 3 years, so you know it’s gonna be a blast. It’s also Brad’s birthday party on Saturday, so come wish him well! Don’t miss it!

After a great Memorial Holiday Weekend, we are ready to get back at it at Rhymer’s tonight. It’s always a great time at Rhymer’s and tonight’s show should be no different!

We have a pretty slow schedule in June due to family vacations, etc., so if you want to come party with us, Rhymer’s is the place. It’s been a HOT week, so come have some cold ones with us and don’t forget your dancin’ shoes!

Hey all!

Thanks again for the incredible turnout for Mardi Gras! We had a great time! We are gonna try our new tunes we played for the first time that night along with a few more.

This is our first solo gig in over 2 months since Brad and Jodi had their baby, so we have a lot of pent up energy.

So come on out to one of Cape’s hottest new music venues and party with us. It will definitely be worth it!

PS – Our friends “Us Instead” will be at Mixing 10 on Friday Night. It’s a benefit so go support them and the cause.

Holly’s Benefit for Breast Cancer @ The Pink Galleon Jan. 16, 6-9 p.m.

Ok all, here’s the Coup De Gras of the weekend: this is going to be a great event for the awareness of Breast Cancer and specifically to benefit one of our own survivors….. Holly!!!

She just finished her treatment and we are going to celebrate! And while we do just that, we are going to raise some money for all she has endured the past several months! Here’s the line-up:

3 Bands!!
First – The Mike Renick band
Second – The Well Hungarians
Third – The Intention

In between these acts, The Pink Galleon has brought in a comedian and a magician. There will be food and a silent auction. A FULL night of entertainment!

More details to follow in the next few days. Please make plans now to support one of Cape’s most recent survivors and all around GREAT person!

As a side note – This will be The Intention’s last weekend of gig’s for a few months as Brad’s wife will be having a new baby boy. Hey, it’s 2011…. who says we are done partying!!!

Just announced! The Intention Halloween PARTY will be at The Venue, October 30th! Tickets can be purchased at PMAC Music or by calling The Venue. Tickets will be $15 in advance or $20 at the door. Also, reservations for tables can be made for $120 for a table of 8. Get your tickets now!! We will also have special guests, Mid Life Crisis, performing with us!!!!

Bel-Air tonight at 8 pm: The Intention Unplugged!

OK – So collectively, we made a final decision…We will do an acoustic rendition tonight starting around 8. With the weather the way it is, this seemed the best route to take! Brad, Jesse and Sam will grab some guitars, a few microphones and lotsa beer and show you The Intention unplugged.
